For 16 year old artist Joanna Wiraża, autumn is a very important season. Why? Because Joanna's canvas is fallen leaves she finds on the ground. That's right, she gathers, dries, and paints on fallen leaves.
Her first experience with "leaf art" was last year on New Year's Eve. While her friends were busy getting ready for a party, Joanna spent the entire day preparing. After painting furiously she completed her first work of leaf art. The colors, paired with the scene of the painting, sparked worldwide attention to Joanna's art and for good reason- this gal has got some talent!
